“Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain but it takes character and self control to be understanding and forgiving.” —Dale Carnegie
As adults we sometimes still do act like Babies!
We attempt to be proactive in our life.
We set goals and puruse what we want.
But when things turn out otherwise, what do we do?
Do we often find ourselves bralwing and whining, i.e. complaining and throwing tantrums just like a baby!
Count how many times you complain about anything in one day, for example...
running late and missing the bus....
being stuck in a traffic jam...
caught in a downpour...
given ketchup when you asked for chillie...
being passed over for a promotion....
kids making a mess at home....
etc, etc, etc
There seem to be endless instances where you can find a reason to complain.
AND to top these all up, we also complain about about ourselves!
"Oh, I don’t have enough time to....""Oh, we don’t have enough money to..."
"Nah, I can never do it as I am not smart enough, cool enough, etc..."
Although it is really DIFFICULT to stop Complaining, imagine how much happier we would be if we simply stop complaining?
Afterall, most of the things we complain about are beyond our control anyway!
What’s the point then, yaking on and on about things you have no power to change? Not very intelligent, if you ask me....
What do yo think?
